Autonomy

We teach children to become independent, disciplined, and responsible. They learn to respect their peers' space by understanding their own space limits. The children’s independence does not mean caregivers are hands-off; on the contrary, caregivers monitor and encourages children during this process.

Confidence

The teachers at Living the Language are trained to trust in children’s ability, and to respect and encourage their autonomy, all within a carefully-prepared and structured environment. Our teachers observe, interact with, and keep notes on each child’s progress while showing respect, attention, and dedication.

Empathy

We respect each child’s pace and development. We challenge them to strive and grow, in an environment in which they can succeed. We also teach them to care for their hygiene and physical appearance. Children who respect themselves also learn to respect others and to accept and respect the rules of society.

“Do not tell them how to do it. Show them how to do it and do not say a word. If you tell them, they will watch your lips move. If you show them, they will want to do it themselves.”
